Last week, the DECODE project team gathered in Grenoble, France, for our fourth Consortium Meeting – a key milestone in our Horizon Europe journey to accelerate the integration of clean energy materials and technologies.

Celebrating orogress across work packages
The meeting brought together all partners to share updates on the significant progress achieved so far. From advancing modelling and characterization methods to developing next-generation descriptors for electrochemical systems, each work package showcased results that strengthen our vision: creating one of the most advanced pan-European clusters of labs for hydrogen technologies.
Our integrated software-hardware platform is already demonstrating its potential to digitally connect multiple labs, enabling faster and more effective collaboration across Europe.
Engaging with our advisory board
A highlight of the meeting was the dedicated session with our Advisory Board members. This interactive exchange allowed us to present key achievements, address questions, and receive strategic guidance from leading experts in the field.
We are deeply grateful to Anthony Kucernak, Sebastian Storck, Patrick Ruch, and all Advisory Board members for their time and invaluable insights. Your expertise helps us stay aligned with industry needs and scientific excellence as we push the boundaries of electrolyzers ⚡, fuel cells 🔋, and cloud-based platforms ☁️.

Looking ahead
As we move forward, DECODE remains committed to fostering collaboration, accelerating innovation, and shaping the future of hydrogen technology for a sustainable energy transition.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey!
